Velebit aktivnosti, a local agency in Otočac, runs guided trips around the Gacka valley — book ahead, especially in summer.

  • Kayaking on the Gacka

    An easy paddle on a calm, crystal-clear river — there is even a version with a transparent kayak.

  • Quad safari

    A guided tour through the Gacka valley, with a short training session first. Drivers need a driving licence.

  • Cycling and hiking

    The flat valley along the river is ideal for cycling, and Velebit for mountain walks.

  • Fishing

    The Gacka is famous for its brown and rainbow trout.
